The idea behind an EdCamp is that is it an “unconference.” This means it is an ad-hoc conference that is organized by educators and then all the presentations are done by teachers, students, and professors.

There is actually no prearranged agenda; EdCamp participants arrive at the conference site and are given the opportunity to sign up to present an idea, topic, activity, or lesson about learning.

Some topics that will be covered include technology, dealing with stress, social studies, and leadership.

All participants will be given a professional development certificate for 5 hours credit at the conclusion of the conference.
